Vintage Grain Sack Cushions

Batterbury’s monogrammed cushion covers are made from vintage Romanian grain sacks, which come with a variety of coloured stripes.  The cushion covers can be personalised with smartly embroidered letters, with the name of your family, house, pet or favourite saying.  They look great on beds, benches and sofas, and are fun for outdoor furniture.  They are wonderful present for children, god children, weddings, and significant birthday’s such as a 40th!   The letters can be embroidered in a similar colour to the stripe or in a colour of your choice.  They are vintage grains sacks which can have slight slubs, wear or marks which adds to their character.  The covers can be machine washed on a cold delicate wool cycle and can be put in the tumble dryer on a cool setting. Grain sacks are cotton/linen, measure approximately 120cm x 50cm, with a zip at one end.  The cushion covers can be filled with old pillows or we can supply 4 duck feather pads (measuring 50cm squared each) per cushion cover.
